IF the Knicks were to get Artest, and that's a big IF, then they wouldn't be getting other pieces in addition. They would have to include David Lee, like you did, but Isiah has said that David Lee is close to untouchable. Jamal Crawford would have to be moved also, which is exactly what you had. The Knicks would also be smart to try to unload Quentin Richardson, but unfortunately I can't think of any team that would be willing to take him from the Knicks. Oh yeah, and no team would take Jerome James and his ridiculous long-term contract.

You did a nice job compiling the package the Knicks would give up, just not a realistic package they would receive in return.

This trade is a little more likely, the Knicks would give up those two players and Kelvin Kato's expiring contract, which could be enough to tempt the Kings to unload Artest. Acquiring Artest isn't as unlikely as some may think, Isiah would just have to be willing to create a true team chemistry nightmare.

I love Ron Artest, he's a Queens kid.

But you must be out of your mind if you think the Knicks will trade David Lee....
I think it's a possibility if the Kings are trying to unload contracts and acquire young new players.
i dont like that trade much but artest would fit in well in New York im sure they would like some1 who could give them a dozen fist fights a season

g: Stephon Marbury. The most overrated "Star" player in NBA history. This guy has never done anything to earn his big paycheck...but he'd tell you he's the Man.
