I traded grant hill for mo-pete and dropped jose calderon for tinsley. i am in a 12-man league. i know my team is injury prone but if all my guys stay healthy, how do u think i'll do?

It's an ok team, not great but not terrible. It's true that you have a lot of injury prone players, but you should be ok if they can stay healthy. Here are my thoughts:

The grant hill for mo-pete deal was a bad move. Everyone on the Suns always has inflated stats because of their up-tempo system, and Hill will be no exception. Mo pete always has a low FG%, and there is no telling how many minutes he will get this year. I wouldn't be surprised at all if they cut his minutes to give more time to another player like Delfino.

Nocioni could also be a bust. He's a bench player and the Bulls have a crowded frontcourt between ben wallace, joe smith, tyrus thomas, luol deng, and joakim noah. His stats were pretty good last year, but I think they might drop this season.

Ridnour is another question mark because the Sonics may give most of the PG minutes to Earl Watson. Also, Tinsley is very unreliable and injury prone, so if he doesn't get off to a good start you may want to drop him. I would keep an eye on all these players and make some roster changes if they aren't playing well for you.

But there are some positives to this team. Your PF's and centers look really good, so you should be in good shape for blocks and rebounds. And you should get a lot of assists and steals from chris paul and mo williams.

I think scoring and three pointers will be the weaknesses of this team. You may want to bench nocioni or ridnour in favor of nachbar or mo pete... it all depends on which players get off to a hot start this week. And maybe look over the available free agents to see if there are any good 3-point shooters out there. Good luck!

Average team. I see few 3's. Okafor is good but will kill your FT%. If they all stay healthy, you will finish middle of the pack 5-8.

By the way, Dunleavy is a great guy to send to the waiver wire and get someone else.

Its not that good u definitely need a superstar or a big scorer because u wont do to good without one. I would give it a 5/10. Who was your first pick what pick did you have and how many teams are in your league??

Don't get me wrong, they are good, but you have no true "big" stars.

thats a good trade but miami's bench reserves suck which is another reason why they dont play that well. teams like the suns, mavericks and boston have good reserve players that can back them up. if wade or marion get injured there isn't any chance at all for miami. just like gilbert arenas being out the wizards are at least still a playoff team.

mourning is out for the whole season, and ben wallace isn't playing that well this season.
The Heat don't need Wallace because:

A: The Heat are is a halfcourt team anymore.

B: Wallace's contract is huge at 15 million with only 5 points and 8 rebounds a game, Shaq was more productive with his 20 million dollar contract at 14 points a game 8 rebounds despite not being healthy and neither is Wallace he's a poor man's Shaq. Along with that his contract has another 3 years on it. The Heat can get more for their money and wouldnt want to be stuck with him. Even Amare Stoudimire makes 11 mill with the Suns and he OWNS Wallace.

In addition I doubt the Bulls will give up Ben Gorden. I already know theyre trying to shop Ben Wallace around.
It wouldn't make them better. Gordon isn't a distributor. He, much like Wade is best suited at the 2 spot. Their frontcourt would be incredibly weak with absolutely no scoring. Ben Wallace isn't the same Big Ben from the Detroit days. Blount sucks, he can't catch anything inside and his defense is non existent.

They need help up front and at the point.
chicago's just starting to come around, and they have a history of being extremely bully after the all-star breaks. why would they want to jerk around now?
Yes but all they needed was a center.
It would make them better, but why would Chicago trade away the reason they are doing decent this year? Chicago would not benefit from this trade at all.

you needed jamison, odom is an old timer.
Jamison is going to get you points AND rebounds. Redd will just get you points. Odom won't do anything with Kobe, Kobe, Kobe and Kobe on his team. Camby just rebounds. AI and 'Melo do all of the leg work. Sorry, but I think you were better off before the trade.

i think that was a good trade for h2h. camby will help you win blocks and steals more often despite losing two good players. it looks like you probably have been winning scoring already with kobe and iverson so this was a good deal.

i think you might have been able to get a better player than odom for this but he is pretty much the same as jamison when he's doing well.

The Eastern Conference will have largely the same crop of tough teams. Detroit, Chicago, and Cleveland. Miami should rejoin the ranks of top teams in the east and the Celtics will if they do in fact trade for Garnett. I also expect Washington to compete this season if their roster can stay healthy. That would leave two more playoff spots open. One for New Jersey and one for Toronto. I don't think we will see the Pacers playing in the postseason.

I think it is still much weaker than the West. The top two draft picks, and clearly the two best players in the draft both went out west. Iverson will be in Denver for a full year, I think the Clippers will rebound and be stronger than last year and the Spurs are still relatively young for all the success they have had. Also, I don't expect a first round exit by the Mavs again this year.

The K.G. deal isn't done yet and even if it was, I don't think he is the player he was five years ago. Still strong and effective, but chemistry is a huge thing on a team, Ray Allen has a big ego and I could see him and Garnett clashing. Personally I like the Pistons in the East next year; the Cavs won't sneak up on them like they did last year. But honestly, I still think the five best teams in the West are better than anybody in the East (Spurs, Mavericks, Suns, Nuggets, and maybe the Jazz).
In the east that team looks like liquid gold how can you fail with three all-stars and one superstar in kevin garnett. But if the celtics give up allot of their young talent and don't win think of the factors to take into place.

The east is weak. I see Miami coming out next year with if Wade stays healthy. But after that it is weak. If Boston gets Garnett like it is reported it is a done deal, they will jump to #2 in the East. A starting line up with Ray Allen, Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce would top any line up in the East, Talent wise.
How are the Celtics going to get KG and keep Pierce and Allen? Who are they going to trade? The only other good player they have is Al Jefferson, and that's not enough to bring KG to Boston.

But if they somehow pull it off, Allen, Pierce, and KG would be a very formidable team. I see them getting to the Eastern Conference finals before losing to the Bulls.

if you had to pick the 16 BEST teams in the playoffs at least 10 would be western

the top 4-5 teams in the west can probably beat EVERYBODY in the east

the KG trade makes sense if you plan to win in 1 or 2 years, but after that, its useless... pierce is about 30 now, allen and garnett are INTO their 30s, you essentially have no cap flexibility and all your money tied up in three aging guys who won't be as good as in their prime but being paid as if they still are (see: shaq)... if no injuries occur however, that threesome can make some noise next year and the year after that

Yes. Allen is great at downtown shots, KG is a great rebounder and great at shooting, Pierce is pretty good at steals and all the other stuff!

1 problem, it is almost impossible to get pass Detroit, and Cleveland!!!

Portland and Charlotte Portland made SIX trades and came out with great players and CHarlotte got Morrison the leading scorer in all ofcollegebaskketball.

Looks GREAT to me. LeBron would be his dominate self. Barbosa would run a solid point and would get out in the open court with LeBron. Redd would nail his spot-up three's. Chris Webber and LBJ would run a nice pick%26amp;pop/pick%26amp;roll. Rasho would rebound and eh...rebound. I guess the center is where you screwed up.

Strength: Cemistry. Something tells me this team can work together very nicely.

Weakness: Rebounding. Rasho and Webber aren't the most athledic front line.

Overall: Great! Championship contending team.

Looks pretty decent. Nesterovic isn't the best Center however, so you might want to trade him and another bench player for a better center.

Keep in mind. When you are doing a Fantasy draft there are certain things you should look for. When I draft I try to get to most versatille players like Wade. He can play PG or SG. I also look for players that I can draft and then trade for someone else.

Usually when you do a fantasy draft there is a rush on a certain position such as Center. Use that to your advantage. Draft players at different positions. Remember, PF also play pretty good at Center.

I think only James and Redd will be the most important player in ur team. Thomas will be just a back-up becoz he can shoot three but low on defense, but still he can be vital. The rest, Webber (former all-star, now a no star),Rasho etc. Are just supporting cast for James and Redd. Here's an analysis: Offense: 85% Defense: 55%.When either Redd or James will be injured.Offense will go down as well as defense. But good news ur team could reach the playoffs but, not the finals if and only if ur two superstars will be healthy for the season's remainder. Good Team though over-all--80%. I was the master of all trades. I did not cheat at all and started with the origanal roster of the Charolotte Bobcats. I chose them because they had young talent(good for trading), lots of cap space, and players with expiring contracts. I was so good I could trade for anyone. It took me only five years on the game to get this roster and I only traded for a couple of those guys in the first year because I was mainly waiting for contracts to expire. Then in the offseason I would hire good free agents, as many as I could and group some together in packages and trade them for a better player. Sometimes I had to trade three of mine for one player and then take that one player and group him with two other free agents that I had hired and trade them for the player I wanted. It was really hard but I became an expert at it. I had to be in order to get a roster like that.

u have a solid team there, and it will be good if u jus stick to buyin training sessions for all of ur young players. i had hakim warrick in my dynasty and i kept buyin him upgrades for his dunking, and by season 3 he had the freestyle high flying ability and i wuz able to do sum nasty dunks, so stick wit tht team, it has a TON of potential.

this is a wonderful trade. Sam smith, kc johnson(chicago bulls beat writers) have all harped on this trade but i don't think the Bulls will make this deal, which is very stupid! B.C as u said they get great cap relief and get rid of an over payed scrub who averages 4 points and at best 9 rebounds.

I don't think it makes much sense for either side.

It will cripple the Lakers salary cap wise until Big Ben's contract expires and they are already set long term at C/PF with Bynum and Odom. While Wallace will help cover Bynum's absence this season he will be a $15mill per year back up from then on!

Brown's has a bad contract taht is about to expire and the last thing the lakers want to do is replace it with an even worse contract.

For the Bulls it would give them cap space but I don't think they're written off this year quite yet. Yeah, they've been bad but they're only 2 games out of the playoffs in the east and the teams ahead of them Atlanta, Indiana and New Jersey aren't exactly jauggernauts.

Getting Brown or Radmanovic wont address the need for a post scorer which is their biggest weakness.

That's not so much a trade as it is an accounting maneuver. I know what you're getting at, but I don't think it helps either team out appreciably, especially since none of the players helps the new team much until Kwame's contract comes off the books.
